Every Mother's Day weekend we would spend Saturday evening planting flowers in my Grandma's front yard--it's what she asked for every year. Petunias with a border of Dusty Miller. Some years, a little alyssum made it into the planter as well. Inevitably, while digging we would come across worms, much to my disgust. Serpentine is a fun quilt that reminds me of those summer evenings in my Grandma's garden.
